December 2025
Volume 1 | Issue 5
December always arrives with its own unique energy - festive, reflective, hopeful, demanding, tender, tiring, beautiful and loud all at once. This year especially has taught me that wellness isn’t something we conquer, it’s something we return to again and again - sometimes by pushing forward, and sometimes by gently putting things down when they aren’t ours to carry anymore.
As I close out 2025, I’ve been reflecting on the rhythm that shaped me through unexpected climbs: showing up, staying committed, listening sooner, forgiving in stages, choosing healing first, and making room to rise again stronger next time.
What I didn’t realize at the beginning of this year is that the word Diligence would end up guiding me through one of the heaviest, most human years I’ve ever walked through. And what I’m feeling now, as we step toward 2026, is the heartbeat of Resilience — softer than grit, louder than exhaustion, and something I’m ready to lean into next.
This month’s newsletter is profoundly personal. It contains reflections on strength, forgiveness, manifestation, resilience, and the kind of wellness that protects your peace instead of stealing it. My hope is simple — that as you read, you feel permission, recognition, relief, and possibility beside me — not perfection, not pressure, just direction.
Each article in this newsletter was written from a place of honoring the human experience while staying connected to whole-person wellness. Click through when you are ready…..no rush, no pressure, just when it feels true for you.
Wishing you a well-rested, well-supported, healing-centered December, and a gentle, intentional step into all that lies ahead.
With love,
Strength is Built By Showing Up - Resilience is Built When You Pause
December is a beautiful paradox. The world around us sparkles with festivity and energy—lights twinkle, friends gather, and there's a shared joy in winding down the year together. Yet, inside, many of us feel a quieter, gentle heaviness—not of despair, but of awareness. After months of nonstop activity—our bodies, hearts, and minds continually moving—we sometimes feel our strength is less like armor and more like something we're holding onto tightly. We cling to responsibilities, emotions, and the need to keep going, often without realizing how much this tension can quietly weigh us down, blocking our path to true well-being and peace.
We often hear that strength should look flawless, especially as the year ends. But true human strength isn’t about perfection—it’s a heartfelt, ongoing journey. It ebbs and flows, needing gentle patience through the in-between moments. Even the strongest hearts, mentally and physically, can become fragile under continuous pressure. Feeling deeply is a sign of genuine resilience, a reminder that vulnerability is a vital part of real strength. When our strength feels heavy, it’s often because our resilience muscles are bearing more than they should, and they need time to rest and heal.
Our whole-being wellness is like a gentle dance. Physical strength resides in our muscles, emotional resilience in our hearts, mental clarity in our thoughts, social bonds in our connections, and spiritual harmony in our surrender to life's natural flow. When any of these areas feels overwhelmed, strength may seem heavier rather than weaker. That’s why December’s wellness focus should be on gentle regulation, not repression. Recognizing fatigue, emotional struggles, or the need to slow down isn’t giving up—it’s a sign of self-awareness and care for our nervous system. This moment invites us to nurture our bodies so they can safely complete the stress cycle, freeing us from carrying burdens longer than necessary.
True wellness isn't about hiding our humanity to seem strong. It encourages us to be honest with ourselves so our strength doesn’t become overwhelming. When that heaviness settles in your chest, calendar, body, or relationships, it’s your inner voice gently saying, “Let me rest just for a moment, so we can keep moving forward tomorrow.” Caring for our strength turns it into resilience we carry inside, not something we constantly need to prove.
Forgiving the Past Restores the Energy for What’s Next
Sometimes, the noise that slows us down isn’t loud — it’s old. It’s the gentle whisper of past wrongs, wounds, or moments of injustice we never fully processed. Our hearts hold onto these memories because, in their own way, they believe they’re protecting us. But when protection turns into a weight, we drain our energy on things that belong to yesterday, not tomorrow. True wellness can’t flourish in a system still holding onto what once hurt.
Many see forgiveness as a single moment — a decision, a declaration, or a spiritual checkbox. But real forgiveness is more like healing: gradual, uneven, personal, and sometimes, in the best way, painfully slow. Recent wellness research shows that releasing emotional burdens isn't just psychological; it’s physical, too. Forgiveness helps calm the nervous system, lowers stress hormones, steadies the heart, reduces reactivity, and improves sleep. It tells the body: “You don’t have to stay guarded anymore.”
I recently learned something many of us weren’t taught growing up: forgiveness has two parts — forgiving the act and forgiving the impact. These might not happen at the same time. You may forgive the event in your mind while the aftermath still lingers in your body. Or your emotional grip might loosen long before your story reaches closure. That’s not inconsistency — it’s simply the human journey. Both steps are essential for finding peace, regulation, and resilience.
Carrying past pain often means believing false stories — that the world isn’t safe, that disappointment is inevitable, or that vulnerability is a risk. These invisible walls block our ability to manifest, slow down our wellbeing, and overload our system. You’re not struggling because you lack strength — it’s because your strength has been overextended.
That’s why forgiveness is so important — not to excuse what happened, but because you deserve to heal from its weight. Forgiveness is your gift to yourself: a creative act of reclaiming energy, restoring peace, and building resilience for what’s ahead — not what’s behind.
Manifestation Isn’t a Moment - It’s Who You Become
Manifesting is often talked about as if it’s just a moment of sheer willpower — a loud wish sent out into the future. But in truth, real manifestation grows gently over time. It begins with imagination, is felt deeply in the body, guided by intention, rooted in emotional honesty, and carried forward through aligned, compassionate actions. It’s less about calling in a future self and more about becoming a new version of yourself through consistent kindness and self-awareness. The process matters more than the perfection of the performance, and the goal is to simply be present with yourself.
Manifestation starts long before your goals become reality. It begins in those quiet moments when you release internal resistance — especially old pain, fear, and lingering impact that stays long after the moment has passed. What often holds us back isn’t a lack of strength but the emotional leftovers from past experiences we haven’t fully processed.
Forgiveness becomes a vital part of this journey — it creates space inside, so we stop moving forward defensively and start moving with intention and kindness. Forgiveness doesn’t mean the hurt was okay; it’s about prioritizing your well-being over the weight of the past.
That’s why manifestation touches every aspect of wellness:
Emotionally, it asks you to truly feel what’s there, rather than pushing it away.
Physically, it encourages you to care for your body as you grow.
Mentally, it invites you to imagine possibilities without shrinking your dreams.
Socially, it nudges you toward people who uplift rather than drain you.
Spiritually, it encourages trusting progress, even when it’s uneven.
Manifesting is a gentle, inner process — happening from the inside out. Your inner voice recognizes the difference between fantasy and real movement. Fantasy hovers above — admired from afar — but true manifestation lives within you. It shows in your dreams, your energy, your emotional responses, your relationships, your self-belief, and your inner peace. It’s not about louder effort but about clearer direction.
This December, give yourself permission to begin again with intention — even if your steps feel small. Here are some gentle ways to start.
Take a moment to tune into what feels true for you.
Let go of what you’re ready to leave behind as you step into the new year.
Commit to one small, wellbeing-centered action this week.
Give yourself permission to rebuild your energy before taking on more.
Manifestation isn’t about a single dramatic moment; it’s built through the small, consistent, compassion-rooted choices that change you over time. You don’t simply manifest what you want — you become the person who can gently and wisely hold that desire.
When you prioritize your wellbeing as you move forward, your life and resilience grow stronger alongside your dreams. Sleep becomes more restful. Emotional reactions soften. Your energy stabilizes. Self-trust begins to heal. Connections deepen. The inner world finds calm.
Resilience develops without needing to be perfect. Manifestation isn’t asking more from you — it’s guiding you to focus. Resilience isn’t about pushing harder — it’s about recovering faster.
Welcome to manifestation, a heartfelt journey designed just for you—centered on emotional awareness, physical wellbeing, spiritual grounding, meaningful support, and authentic human growth. It begins when you feel tired, but it is made stronger each time you grant yourself permission to keep going.
Strong Doesn’t Have to Mean Surviving - It Means Sustaining
In a season often focused on progress and achievement, we tend to celebrate endurance and perseverance over genuine sustainability. Yet, true wellbeing extends beyond simply enduring difficult times; it requires us to listen softly to ourselves early on, before problems become overwhelming. While we admire grit and determination, without honoring self-care, that resilience can eventually weigh heavily on our bodies and hearts.
Let's clarify what it means to normalize this:
It’s okay to feel tired at the start, rather than only at the end.
Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness, and should never be something to apologize for.
Choose healing and restoration over succumbing to holiday stress.
Prioritize sleep, peace, and self-reflection as vital parts of your routine.
Recognize that emotional well-being deserves as much attention as ambition and include it in your goals.
Your resilience and strength in the year ahead will be shaped by how compassionately you nurture yourself today. Rest helps your nervous system heal, support revitalizes your heart, sleep refreshes your body, and healing renews your spirit. Embracing and balancing these elements allows us to return stronger and more prepared to face whatever comes—and helps us avoid burnout or running on empty.
Remember, taking time for self-care isn’t a sign of weakness but a vital investment in your well-being. Prioritizing yourself today sets the foundation for a healthier, more resilient tomorrow.
My Year of Showing Up: Guided by Diligence, Held Next by Resilience
At the beginning of this year, I chose the word 'diligence' to guide me—a symbol of my heartfelt dedication to perseverance and growth. This word wasn't just a label; it served as a gentle reminder of how important commitment is in every step I take.
Looking back, I had no idea how the year would unfold with surprises and challenges that would truly test my ability to stay diligent and true to my purpose. Later this month, I look forward to sharing my wellness journey over the year, opening up about the struggles I faced and those moments when carrying the weight of strength and diligence felt almost too heavy.
Throughout this month’s newsletter, I hope you could sense a deeper heartbeat—resilience. As I prepare to welcome a new year, I’ve chosen this word alongside my 2026 word of the year, to highlight its importance in my ongoing pursuit of wellness and growth. Embracing resilience means more than just bouncing back; it’s about becoming stronger and transforming pain into power. Facing challenges opens doors to growth and fills us with hope and courage—foundations for lasting well-being.
Looking back at my tradition of choosing a “word of the year,” I realize that my words for 2025 and 2026, along with the idea of wellness, form a heartfelt rhythm of true well-being:
Diligence reflects daily commitment
Resilience embodies the healing strength within us
Wellness is the gentle harmony created through consistency and resilience, guiding us through life's difficulties with hope and courage.
As I reflect on this journey, I see how the themes of diligence, resilience, and wellness have shaped my growth. Embracing these values has helped me navigate challenges and deepen my commitment to self-improvement. Looking ahead, I remain dedicated to nurturing these qualities, trusting they will continue to guide me toward well-being and purpose.
As you reflect on your past year and look ahead to 2026, what word will you choose to inspire and guide you?
