MOUNTAIN AWAKENING COACHING

WELLNESS COACHING BUILT AROUND YOUR LIFE—NOT SOMEONE ELSE’S PLAN

You may already know many ways to support your wellness. The harder question is often how to make meaningful change work within the responsibilities, priorities, circumstances, and capacity of the life you’re actually living.

Mountain Awakening Coaching is a private, individualized 12-week partnership designed to help you explore that question with support. Rather than starting with a prescribed program, we begin by understanding where you are, what matters to you, what you want to change, and what may help make meaningful change more sustainable.

Over eight private coaching sessions, we’ll explore possibilities, choose meaningful next steps, learn from what happens between conversations, and adjust as your experience gives us new information.

The goal isn’t to make you better at following someone else’s plan.

It is to help you become more confident navigating your own.

WHO THIS MAY BE FOR

Coaching may be useful when knowing isn’t the same as doing.

You don’t need to be new to wellness to benefit from coaching. In fact, you may already have years of experience trying to take care of yourself. You may know quite a bit about nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, or the habits that tend to help you feel better.

But knowing what could help and finding a way to make it work consistently are different things.

Mountain Awakening Coaching may be a good fit if something about your wellness matters enough that you’d like to give it thoughtful attention, but you’re tired of approaches that ask you to reshape your entire life around a plan. Perhaps your responsibilities have changed. What worked before no longer fits. You’ve started and stopped enough times that another dramatic restart doesn’t appeal to you. Or you simply want support figuring out what sustainable change could look like now.

You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly defined goal. Part of coaching can be understanding what actually matters to you before deciding what you want to change.

You do need to be willing to participate in the process to reflect honesty, make your own choices, experiment with possibilities, notice what happens, and bring what you learn back into our conversations.

And coaching isn’t the right resource for every need. Mountain Awakening Coaching is not therapy, medical care, diagnosis, or treatment, and it doesn’t replace appropriate support from licensed healthcare or mental health professionals. If something emerges that suggests another kind of support would be more appropriate, we’ll talk about that openly.

The goal isn’t to prove that you’re ready enough for coaching. It’s to determine whether this kind of partnership makes sense for you right now.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

This isn’t eight sessions of someone telling you what to do.

There is no standard Mountain Awakening meal plan, workout plan, morning routine, habit checklist, or formula that every client is expected to follow.

That doesn’t mean coaching lacks structure. It means the structure supports the person rather than requiring the person to fit the structure.

Our work begins with understanding. We explore what matters to you, what your life looks like now, what you’ve tried before, what tends to support you, what tends to get in the way, and what you may be ready to approach differently. From there, we identify possibilities together and turn them into meaningful, realistic experiments you can take into everyday life.

What happens next matters.

If something works, we learn from it. If it partly works, we look at why. If it doesn’t work at all, that isn’t automatically evidence that you failed or weren’t disciplined enough. It’s information. We can use it to understand the behavior, the circumstances around it, and what adjustment might make more sense.

Education can absolutely be part of our work. Depending on your goals, we may explore relevant information related to movement, nutrition, mindset, rest, and recovery. But information is offered in service of your decision-making—not as a prescription you are expected to obey.

Over time, the aim is for you to build more than a collection of healthy behaviors. You begin accumulating evidence about yourself: what matters to you, what supports change, how you respond when life disrupts the plan, how to adjust without automatically starting over, and how to make increasingly confident decisions about your own wellness.

Because sustainable change isn’t about becoming dependent on a coach.

It’s about becoming better at navigating change when the coach isn’t there.
