Mountain Awakening was already part of my life when I discovered these old 8mm films.

But watching them felt like meeting myself again.

That little girl was free.

Confident. At home in her body.

Seeing her made me realize how subtly that ease had shifted into self-criticism over the years.

And it reminded me why this work matters.
